Hi, welcome to my website for my new children's book, Obey Miss Mae. My desire in writing this book is to help children understand the importance of obeying rules and respecting authority. My hope is that you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Avery and Jack aren't too sure about their new nanny, Miss Mae. So when she arrives, they put her to the test! But Miss Mae isn't moved by their wild behavior. In fact, she uses this teachable moment to help the children understand the importance of following rules and obeying authority.

My Goal with Obey Miss Mae

My goal with Obey Miss Mae is to use this story to educate your children or classroom on the importance of obeying their parents and teachers. I also want children to understand when it is right not to obey authority, and how to discern the difference. My hope is that parents and teachers will engage in conversation using this book as a guide to helping children comprehend the difference.
